Chairmen of SAXUTEC e.V.




Jörg Wagner
chairman

Mr. Joerg Wagner is acting partner of the INTECUS GmbH Waste Management and Environment-Integrating Management which he joined in the year 2002. The professional career of Mr. Wagner is closely linked with international consulting in environmentally relevant issues, where, starting from 1996, the waste management sector got his particular attention.
In 2010 he took the chair of SAXUTEC e.V. and contributes with his international experience more intensive to the work of the association.
Mr. Wagner considers as his task not only represent the interests of the association and its members, but in particular to evolve SAXUTEC as trademark of Saxon environmental technology. Acting in concert with the Saxon politics, economy and research SAXUTEC is committed to the concept of environmental protection and will promote the environment by know-how and technology transfer.





Dipl.-Ing. Volker Strehle

Since 1991, Volker Strehle has been managing the affairs of the internationally oriented planning agency “Strehle & Partner Ingenieure”. His know how and experiences of more than 20 years of planning activities in the water and environmental sector advanced him to a much appreciated partner and consultant of Saxon special purpose associations, ministries and institutions. One of his major international projects has been the complete restoration and modernisation of the water supply system of the Mexican city Puebla, which is inhabited by more than a million people.

Since the foundation of the association in November 2006, Dipl.-Ing. Volker Strehle occupies the position of the vice-chairman. His main focus lies on the co-operation of national companies for the realisation of international projects as well as the creation of a network and the transfer of knowledge.



Dr.-Ing. Torsten Harz

Since 1993, Dr.-Ing. Torsten Harz has been working as manager of Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Rudolph + Dr.-Ing. Harz GmbH in Dresden. Having a doctorate in construction engineering with focus on water management, he is occupied with projects in the fields of water, waste water and hydraulic construction.

His experiences range from regional projects, PPP-projects like the sewage treatment plant Königsbrück (Saxony, 1992-1995) or the water treatment plant in Vosdvizhenye (Russia, since 2005), to the involvement in the EU Life project „Integrated Wastewater Purification Management“ (IWPM, since 2006).

Dr.-Ing. Torsten Harz has been fulfilling the position as treasurer of the SAXUTEC e.V. since its foundation. He recognises a necessity for the promotion of interdisciplinary co-operation, the development of innovations as well as joining the capacities and know-how of Saxon companies. He strives for a strengthening of the competitiveness of the Saxon water business.




Dr. Petra
Schneider

Dr. Petra Schneider is authorized officer of the C & E Consulting and Engineering GmbH in Chemnitz. Since 1996 she has been working in the field of environmental protection with emphasis on the integrative water management, waste and wastewater management as well as mining site rehabilitation. In this context, she was involved in several international projects, where her activities included planning, consulting as well as research and development services. Beside this she was also focused in the last years on innovative topics such as climate change adaptation strategies and renewable energies.

Since 2010 she is a board member of the SAXUTEC Association and supports the association in terms of network formation in the Saxonian industry in cooperation with research institutes in the fields of environmental protection, environmental technology and training. The interdisciplinary cooperation, which aims on capacity, building forms a focus of the work, to support the improvement of environmental protection on international scaling, using Saxonian technology.
